Cursor and object lag - R8

Running R8 - 8.2.23346.13002, 2023-12-12
On Macbook Air M1 2020 16gb RAM.

When moving the cursor the selected tool or object lags behind. Moving the cursor faster makes the effect worse.

Same behaviour can’t be recreated in R7. Tool/object follows cursor perfectly.

Not a fatal bug, but certainly annoying. Anything I can do to fix this behaviour?

Going back to Rhino7 seems to be the only option for the moment, unfortunately. Rhino8 on Mac is extremely immature so far.

Here’s a clip of what the behavior looks like. It’s only related to “Edit” type behavior: Drawing a 2D line, the display of the line lags behind the cursor. Panning a simple 3D shape in perspective view is realtime/snappy. Resizing the viewport-panes is laggy. I run the screen at 1.25 scaling (So I run at “2048x2034” for 2560x2880 native resolution). Yes looks like we’re having the same issue. I’m running an M1 MacBook with a studio display so I dont think that it’s a display scaling issue. I’ll also reply in your thread.
