Reacting (zoom, selection) on external display, MacBook Air M2, Rhino7

Running a MacBook Air M2 with MacOS 12.6 with a LG HDR 4K (2560 x 1440 @ 60.00Hz) Monitor connected via USB-C. I am Using a Apple Magic Mouse with Bluetooth and an Apple Keyboard (Bluetooth)

Problem: After opening a drawing or 3D model everything works fine. After some minutes it starts with zooming or moving the drawing - there is a time lag from about a second. After a while also picking objects reacts with a time lag.

Tried already other USB-C cable. Sometimes it is working better when using the track pad but after a while, the time lag while zoom starts also. It also started today when NOT using the external monitor.

The same problem is on Rhino 8 WIP with metal and openCL.

Thanks for some input.

No ideas?

Hi @ZAB sorry for the late response, I don’t have a direct clue to this problem, but some questions:

Did you try turning off and restarting your mac completely?
Does your mouse only lag in Rhino?
There are quite a few hits on searching for this issue on Google, did you try any of the possible fixes that come up?
