Rhino8 Mac mouse pointer doesn't move smoothly but lags

I have noticed that when moving the mouse within viewports, the scrolling of the content does not occur smoothly, but exhibits discontinuous and jerky movements. This issue occurs regardless of the presence of geometries or objects within the viewport, as it manifests even with an empty document.
Macbook Pro M3 Max
Anybody could help to resolve?
Thx

hi @didattica.online.25 pls run _SystemInfo in Rhino and post back the results.
There are currently some issues with Rhino for Mac that show a significant built up of delay after opening many documents, even after they have been closed.
Do you see this behavior right away after you started Rhino?

I haven’t noticed if this happens immediately, but I’ve just restarted Rhino and the problem has disappeared, so I can presume the problem appears after documents have been opened for some time. However, I’ve noticed it happens independently of whether the documents are light or heavy.

hi @didattica.online.25 I presume you are seeing the same as mentioned in this YT:
RH-82080 Rhino becomes slow after multiple documents have been opened

it seem similar, but to me happened with just 3 very light files (1 with a small 3d object, 2 with 2D objects).
Now I’ll try to leave them opened for sometimes and I’ll see later what happened.
Btw Is this problem on the way to be resolved?
thx!

The linked YouTrack issue is set to In Progress - meaning it is being worked on.

Good! Thx
sorry for the stupid question, but I’m pretty new to that

…this problem was also present on my Rhino7 on Macbook Pro 2014 with Intel chip.
When I left Rhino opened for sometimes it became very very slow and laggy

RH-82080 should be fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 9 Release Candidate 1. Please give it a try.
