Culling Unnecessary Meshes

Hello all,

I have this problem I do not know how to approach. I have a set of lamellas, which came from an .ifc import, as a block, that once explode have multiple meshes.

As I have some 52 000 of them, I want to reduce this number a bit, and since I will only need one side for my future calculations, I want to cull all the parts I won’t need, and have only a few(just the ones selected.

All I could think of was using “manpower” and making a cull pattern manually, so that only the wanted meshes remain, which worked for just the one selected, but when trying to apply it to all objects, failed miserably due to different data for every lamella.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you,

Hristo

Try Combine&Clean and Align Vertices. There’s an input for the tolerance…

Worked like a charm, thank you very much
