Creating pdf changes display output of details

Hello Rhino team,

I have the following issue. When I make a layout with details in a specific display mode the preview is OK but the output is different. This happens when printing output is set to vector. This is not only happening in this file but in every file.

Hi Tom -

This is what I’m getting with a quick test file:

The preview and the result look the same.

Hello Wim,

that looks OK.

Here below my file. I have the idea that is has something to do we the ligting settings in the rendering tab. See my settings aslo below.

Production file.3dm (6.4 MB)

I also found out a difference in output between groundplane ‘on’ or ‘off’ in the rendering the settings, see below. When groundplane is ‘off’ the corner off a detail is chopped.
Groundplane off.pdf (483.8 KB)
Groundplane on.pdf (519.2 KB)

Hello Wim,

do you also have these issues?
