Creating a surface from a series of non-planar curves

Hello,

I have a joined closed curve made up of non-planar curves. I couldn’t create a surface off this with Patch or Loft, and using EdgeSrf after splitting the curve doesn’t work either. Does anyone have any idea on what I could do? Here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RL78KgzUQz6Hw_96UKkCaGFz0daBIRL9/view?usp=sharing) is a link of my file for reference as it’s a little hard to explain clearly, the aforementioned closed curve is under the layer roof!

Thanks!

Hello Cardinia G98,

I selected the curve, ran explode then patch and it appeared to form a trimmed surface.

Thank you,

Andy

Hi Andy,

Thanks so much! That seems to work.

Hello Cardinia,

You are welcome. Glad that it worked for you.

Andy

I have a similar problem and tried using edgesrf, but the surface isn’t smooth between the curves. I tried patch and it did not work, I don’t know if I needed to change any of the settings before entering.

I will attach two images for reference of what I’m going for and the curves I have currently.
