Crash frequently

My Rhino frequently crashes(even with some very simple files), and even after uninstalling and updating to the new version 7.35, it doesn’t help. It often crashes while I’m using it. Here is my basic information:

Are you sending in the crash reports?

In any case I would update to the current SR 7.36, if you ask McNeel support that is the first thing they will tell you to do.

You might try updating your intel drivers.

Lastly, if you go to Options>View>OpenGL, and you uncheck “GPU Tesselation”, does it help to stop the crashes?

oh! I downgraded from version 7.36 to 7.15! When I use the version of Rhino 7.36, the crashes are more frequent. In particular, I have observed when using version 7.35, that when I rotate the model perspective in Rhino 7.35 and the model is a simple one, the GPU usage can reach up to 100%. However, with the same file in Rhino 7.15, no matter how I rotate the perspective, the GPU usage does not exceed 20%, which is quite incredible.

And sorry,i don’t konw where to find the crash reports,,it just shut down。And when i open the rhino again ,it seems can’t find GPU。So i have to restart my computer to use Rhino

That’s not normal… I have 10K shaded spheres here which I can rotate like crazy in 7.36 and the GPU never gets above about 20%. OK, I have a 4070 12Gb in a desktop, but still there should not be this kind of problem with your 3070 8Gb laptop. There is something else going on.

That is not normal either… I don’t recall any reports of this kind of behavior that I have seen for V7.

Hello- I would get new GPU drivers ones from the NVidia and Intel websites and do a clean install of these drivers.

OK! I will try it soon!

And when it crushed, when i reopen the rhino files ,it looks like just black:

while the normal is just below:

So i should to reinstall the GPU drivers and Inter Drivers?

Hello - if you have not done that, I would do that next, getting the latest drivers from the NVidia and Intel websites .
