Crane plug-in seem to have disappeared overnight

I was working with the Crane plug-in yesterday, making some tests.

Today I open grasshopper and get a pop-up telling me there are ‘3 unrecognized objects’.

I try the option to download and install, but it doesn’t solve the problem.

I tried to reboot, delete manually and reinstall. But problem stays.

If I continue and open GH the nodes that used to be part of Crane are now white frames in my screen. I cannot even select or disconnect them. The weird thing is that one of the nodes ‘Cmesh’ which is part of the plug-in, is still there.

I have no idea what is going on or how to solve it.

(It just gives me a ‘little’ stress because I have to pitch something tomorrow  )

Hope someone can help me with some advice. Thanks!

In the PackageManager, I see that a new version was recently released.
In Rhino 7, I see that the latest is 2.0.2:

In Rhino 9, there’s one that’s a day newer:

By default, the “Automatically update packages when Rhino starts” option is checked.
You could try unchecking that and then installing a previous version from the drop-down to see if that solves the issue for you.

Other than that, it looks like that’s a plug-in that one pays for, so you should be able to get support by using the contact eMail address on its Food4Rhino page.

Dear Wim, thank you so much for the quick reply!

I use Rhino 8, and did exactly what you said. And after that, also first tried to uninstall 2.0.3 and then install 2.0.2. (even tried 2.0.1 and 1.0.0) But it doesn’t help. I get the same pop-up with the same message.

It’s a free pug-in, but will try to email the producers. Thought this forum might be the quickest way to find a solution.
