Core-license troubleshooting

Hi there,

We are getting a hard time troubleshooting our license usage for a given AWS VM (compute server) for one of our clients. We would like to get support from you @AndyPayne or someone else at McNeel that can harvest more information about where the license is used and for what reason ; we have the feeling something might be wrong as the license seems to never be released and we are not making requests to this server in particular (prod server, not replacing the staging server yet).
It’s quite important as the invoices amount are quite high already.
Please let me know if we could jump on a call to troubleshoot this…

Hi Loic. I can have @brian look into this for you as he would likely have the best information on this request… but was the VM you are working on configured to use HTTPS using this guide (Rhino - Configure Compute to use HTTPS)?

Thanks for your reply.
Our machine got configured for HTTPS as I am able to use it with https://.. url. However I don’t recognize the guide anymore, could it be that it changed during the past few months ? We set the VM late 2024.

Ok. Yes, we found a bug in the previous version of the guide which when setup that way was causing an error in the callback method when trying to shutdown the children. The new version of this guide should fix this issue but I may need to setup a zoom call with you in order to walk through the manual modifications to fix this. Can you DM me so that we setup a meeting.
