I understand that this is a problem with the license and token since by running Rhino7 shortcut created in the desktop It won’t run and ask for a license.

What procedure should I follow in order to add the license in a way that enables rhinocompute to work?

Hi @farouk.serragedine. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble. I think the issue here is that Rhino isn’t getting the license correctly… and I believe this could be because you may not have input the correct license auth token during the bootstrap script. I realize that you replaced the RHINO_TOKEN value in the snippet above (which is what you should do)… but the auth tokens for a core-hour billing license usually don’t start with RH70. They’re usually really long encoded strings and much longer than 24 characters.
I think you should probably first check that you’ve got your core-hour billing license set up properly. To do that, please review this page. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see some instructions on how to set your environment variable with this auth token. Since it’s too long for the Environment Variable editing dialog, you’ll need to set it via a powershell command. That command should look like this:

[System.Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable('RHINO_TOKEN', 'your token here', 'Machine')

Once you’ve set the environment variable correctly, try restarting your VM and then logging back in and launching Rhino 7. If everything has worked correctly, then Rhino 7 will start and load correctly. From there, hopefully everything else with your IIS setup will function correctly, but let me know if you have any other questions.
