When opening a native STP. file in Rhino 5 the default setting is millimeters, when converting the file to inches everything changes to inches. (Model and Dimensioning)
When opening a native STP. file in Rhino 7 the default setting is millimeters, when converting the file to inches the cad model will convert but if I dimension it, the dimensions remain in millimeters. With this I must go to annotation tab to edit and change the dimensions to inches then go back to the model to dimension. Is there a script to convert the cad and the dimension all at one time?
Hi Harold - probably the simplest is Import rather than Open the step file - starting with an Inches file in Rhino.

That dose work but i open a lot of files from email and i can’t import them unless i save them to a folder.
