Connectivity btw beam element and shell element

Hello
I’m really new to Karmaba and Grasshopper.
Now I’m trying to make simple frame model that is made with vertical frame and shell.
I’d like to see the effect of shell load to beam.

But there is a problem that the shell i made is only connected with 4 points of frame and actually it couldn’t make any effect on the frame. so I make simple shell model that is connected by 4 edge line.
But after I ananlyzed it, it also showed me only 4 connected shell shape.

Last time I saw the posting about it. and in that posting, these kind of connection problem is because of the node connection. So I assume that the node connection between baem elelment and shell element is issue. But Is it possible that I make a beam element as a mesh?

Summarize

  • How can i make shell element connected to the beam element? (not 4 point)
    It’s my analyzed model

Hi, you need to make sure your beams and meshes are divide at more points and share the same vertices.
