Concerned With the Analysis Method of Wallacei selection

Hello, everyone

I would like to ask you a question concerned the Analysis Method of Wallacei selection. As I am new to Wallacei, I did not understand well to which number of ranking I could fill and ranking method per fittness values and repetition count.

At first, I set the generation count 20 and generation size 50 at the Wallacei settings. At the Wallacei Selection, Parallel Coordinate Plot Settings, I choose Solutions with Repeated Fitness Values. When I try to fill the numbers from 0 to 7 at Selected Ranking, I got the fitness values and numbers of repetitions respectively like the attached screenshot of the excel file. I got the same repeated numbers 12, for ranking 5,6,7 ( for example). But I did not understand well that fitness value -14.4 became ranking 5 and -46.98 became as ranking 6,etc. Is there the ranking method the program is calculating per fitness values or something.

Could you explain me how could I know to which number of ranking I could fill and how the program is collecting datas? Is there any setting that I could try at the Wallacei viewport and I could check.
I also attached the .gh file and some screenshots so that you could check. Thank you all for always supporting! Have a good day!

Hey Ei Zin,

When you select Solutions with Repeated Fitness Values, the ranking will give you the most repeated Fitness Value of selected Fitness Objective. I am not sure what are you trying to do, but here are a few solutions that might inspire you:

a. if you want the Fittest Solution of selected Fitness Objective, you can do it under Wallacei Analytics tab, as shown below:

You will need to press the “Draw” button, if there is no graph in the same tab yet.
After you key in the value, make sure you press the “Select” button.

b. if you are looking for the fittest solution of selected Fitness Objective, and find how many of them have the rank 0 fitness value, I don’t think Wallacei interface are able to fulfill this.

HOWEVER, you can easily read the data they collect and perform other advance calculation or sorting as you wish. I have scripted a bit to extract the information as descripted in b. .

Hope it helps!
