Computation time limit dropped to 10 from 20 seconds?

Hi,

Last year we uploaded a document that takes ~12 seconds to compute. We recently had to make an edit to that document and when uploading it now we’re getting the following error message:

Solving the model took longer than the maximum allowed 10000 milliseconds. Your model took 12013 milliseconds.

We are on the starter tier so according to the pricing page we should be on a 30s limit. We plan to rework the file to reduce the computation time, but I’d like to clarify what the current limit is and if that’s changed.

Regards
Barry

Your account is not on the new “Starter” plan but on the “Designer Plus” plan, one of ShapeDiver’s legacy plans. This plan only includes 10 seconds of computation time.

If your definitions frequently compute in more than 10 seconds, you can either consider switching to Starter, or purchase a 30 second upgrade for your Designer Plus plan. In any case, please contact us through this form if you want to discuss your options further with our team.

Oh right that makes sense. The limit does seem to have changed from last year because we were able to upload this document before and I believe we saw a 20 second limit but we don’t have that recorded.

Either way 10 seconds is too long for a document to load for the user experience so we’ll rework it to bring it down below the current 10 second limit.

Thanks for the information.
