Composite and animate a 3D Rhino Model into a static shot

A sample can maybe help.

I basically followed Nathan’s workflow. Just used 2 lines for the road width, not a plane. I’m not sure whether the road tilts. I rather assume the landscape image is made with a wide angle lens. I’ve set the Viewport’s ‘lens length’ to 33.

@Proterio what @Luc does here is use the extra geometry as reference for the actual animation.

Making the vehicle appear smaller or bigger naturally flows from its distance to the camera.

Hence using reference geometry and positioning your vehicle accordingly, then animating as such will do.

The shot is indeed pretty wide angle, but there is also a slight incline. The outstanding example from @Luc should get you started.

Bravo Luc! Thank you. I will try again
Since the image is actually a locked off video shot with other cars going by, I can probably use AE to composit the animation. Is there a way to create the video without the background? or better yet, import video into Rhino dare I ask )))

Proterio,
Rhino’s Render (Legacy or RR7) both support a transparent background.
