Complicated Contour Lines into Topography

Hello Forum,

I have this
March 27, 2025_Contour Lines.3dm (6.8 MB)
topography file in Rhino 7 and I have been having trouble creating a topography from these contour lines.

The problem I have is that whenever I run Delaunay Mesh in Grasshopper, some or many parts of the topography are broken(?) meshes as the images below show:

How do I create clean surfaces out of these contour lines using Grasshopper? Before that, remove and simplify the contour lines?

Would appreciate any help or advice.

You could try Jørgen’s TerrainMesh. You can install that from the PackageManager.

Ok guys, I have worked on making a new mesh terrain plugin that quickly and reliably generates a mesh based on input curves and points. The results are fast, good and stable with my testfiles now, so I am ready to let you have a go on a beta. Scroll down this thread to locate a download link to the most recent version.
