Whats the command to split the face of my prism and extrude just a part of it?
Right now I am creating a new volume, making a boolean union and merging all faces, which is no ideal for fast modelling.
Hello - if you ExtractIsocurve (in this case, but any curve on the face will do if it traverses the face) a couple of curves, then SplitFace > Curves, you’ll get what I think you want.

Nice, SplitFace was it! I might still need to merge faces, but honestly it might be irrelevant. Thanks Pascal!
