ClippingSections problems

Hello,

When I have a clipping plane active on top view some bugs appear:

  • the lines doesn’t appear while I draw a polyline, the complete polyline only appears once the commande is done.
    Also, intersections snap doesn’t work.

When I disable the clipping plane averything goes back to normal.

Can these issues be fixed to avoid any drawing problems while having clipping planes ON ?

@Leitner_Arthur I don’t see that issue over here. pls run _SystemInfo and post back the results as well as an example file that illustrates the problem.

Hello,

First image is whil drawing a polyline on the “invisible side” of the clipping plane: only points appear:

second image is once polyline commande over, the polyline appeared in the “invisible side” of the clipping plane, and whil edrawing a polyline on the “visible side” of the clipping plane, polyline commande behaves well: the lines appear while drawing the clipping plane:

Fourth image is Points On command made on both polylines:
Polylines can be edited in both visible and invisible sides, but points only appears in the “visible” side of the clipping plan:

Ah, clipping sections. Thanks for sending the file.
I can reproduce what you are reporting. I’ll check if these are known issues and otherwise log them.

RH-83783 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 13
