Clipped drawings not showing as black

Hi

I am having trouble with Rhino 8 WIP

I have created a drawing from a clipped plane section but it is has inherited it colours from the model and I can’t get it to turn black for printing from paper space.

Previously in Rhino 8 drawings just automatically turned black when they were created.

Any help would be appreciated Claude and Google ai just going round in circles.

Thanks

Hi Stephen -

You have set the clipping drawing to get the properties from the input objects. You can double-click on the clipping drawing to edit it and pick “By output layers” from the options for that setting:

Hi Wim thanks for your reply, I am half way there. It now will not show the section boundary line as B&W. I imagine this is a boundary line color button or something like that? Also it is not showing lineweights in Print display?

Hi Stephen -

Yes, the section properties are defined in the section style. You have defined the “GS 1” style as follows:

The two boundary color pull-downs let you set that color for display and print.

Running UpdateClippingDrawings on the drawing block made that go away here.
