We don’t know how to assign multiple constructions to a facade for the thermal model in climatestudio: lets assume we have the lower section of the facade a 90cm high construction with 40cm non-isolated concrete, above a wooden construction with some insulation. Further, as we have a corner room, we have different constructions for the south facade and the west-facade. We cannot find a menu where we can “split” the construction for the “facade”, that also seems the same for multiple orientations. Any help is very much appreciated!

Thank you for your answer.
However, our students in my course are not able to use the grasshopper plugin - it would be impossible for us to introduce grasshopper to them in that short amount of time we have for our course.
In the normal GUI of climatestudio, there is no way to do this?
you could probably set it up like this:
the envelope is divided into four individual zones with partitions set to air wall. the air wall represents a boundary between adjacent zones that are connected, but are not physically separated by walls. an example would be a deep office floor plate. the perimeter of the office floor sees more energy flux than the core of the office floor, so they are separated to more accurately capture this difference.
so have a set of zone constructions for the envelope (perimeter) that have air-wall constructions as the partitions, and a set of zone constructions that are for the interior (core) of the massing. the depth of the envelope constructions can be at most 4m (generally the depth of the “perimeter” for most building type)
