ClimateStudio Conduction Heat Transfer

Good morning,

I’m relatively new to using ClimateStudio, and my current endeavor involves simulating the energy transfer of Surface Average Face Conduction Heat Transfer for the southern textured facade of my building. To accomplish this, I’ve established three distinct zones:

  1. A room featuring flat south walls.
  2. A room with a south-facing textured wall, specifically horizontal louvers.
  3. A room with a south-facing textured wall, utilizing 45˚ louvers.

Upon running the simulation, I encountered varying results: four facades for the first zone, three facades for the second zone, and forty facades for the third zone. Could you kindly guide me in identifying which result corresponds to the southern facade? Additionally, I’m intrigued about the reason behind obtaining only three facades for the second zone, in contrast to the more than four facades for the third zone. Your insights would be greatly appreciated.
