In countries like Iran, where I live, due to the low value of the national currency, the exchange rate of the dollar with the national currency is very high, we have to pay about 100 million tomans to buy Rhino software, like you pay 1 million to buy Rhino software. Pay in dollars, on the other hand, because the banking systems of these countries are under sanctions, it is not possible for us to pay and buy from foreign sites.

Rhino is one program where I think it would be nice to have more affordable licenses in different countries. Maybe they could sell the older versions for less or something.
The big problem for me right now is competing against cracked Autodesk software.
And how people afford the high-end hardware (to run those newer programs) I do not know. The older versions of Rhino run better on older hardware (I think). How else would they get those renders from old GTX cards? I remember seeing lots of nice stuff rendered in Flamingo.
Anyways… as far as Rhino goes the more the better. Semi-related: I remember back in the day I came across absolutely amazing Architectural drawings created in Sketchup by a group in Vietnam. Instead of using cracked software they decided to get the most out of more affordable software and develop ways to get the best results from what they had. Their work was amazing! Meanwhile, similar work created in Revit looks more and more trashy every year.

In Iran, we buy all imported goods at many times the price, cars, Laptops,Tablets, mobile phones or similar products like original softwares, and this problem is due to the ruling regime in Iran, which instead of progressing and comforting the people, seeks war-mongering and its own survival, and for this reason, the country is involved severe sanctions, our biggest problem is that we cannot buy directly from foreign sites because Visa and MasterCard cannot be used in Iran.
