Is there a way to change the default font size of a scribble?
+1. Can’t find this setting in GH/prefs/fonts…??

probably the best shot would be to create a Scribble, change its size/font and create a user object out of it (GH → File → Create User Object) and call it something like “Scribble BIG”
after a few uses that “Scribble BIG” nickname will come up as default first choice when double clicking the GH canvas

Thanks @inno, hadn’t thought of that. However IMO this should still be in the preferences.
I use the “~” shortcut for scribble constantly to keep things organized. I don’t see that shortcut in prefs/shortcuts to redefine it, is there any way to change ~ to point to “scribble2”? Or if not, opt-~?
I guess when you name the user object you can insert that “~” in its name?
Doesn’t work. But thank you. I tried adding ~ to the name, also tried setting its component alias. Oh well. I’ll go back to my old workaround which is just copying and pasting the scribble with the font size I want.
it looks like the character ~ is already dedicated to a standard Scribble
@DavidRutten is there a sort of list with recallable shortcuts/nicknames that we might be able to edit/overwrite, or are they “hardcoded” inside each GH components?
