Hi All,
New to rhino. I need to change what is considered the front, back, view etc. What is currently showing as the front is really the bottom view for example.
Thanks

Matt, there are several ways. One way is to go Display tab and look for the automobile with the direction you want. Another way is to click on the right side of the viewport tab , go to view and pick the one you want. Lastly you can reset all viewports by double clicking on the 4 viewport tab in the standard tab. That should get you started.—-Mark
Thanks Mark but unless I am misunderstanding that doesn’t actually change what is considered the “front”. What I mean is if I click on the top view of the car instead of showing my model from the top it shows the rear bumper. in other words the actual view isn’t matching what it is labelled as in the viewports.
That means you need to orient your part to match the viewport.
If you haven’t looked into the tutorials and learning on Rhino3d.com , it would be time well spent. Good luck
thanks I will take a closer look. I was trying the Cplane adjustment but wasn’t having much luck
