Centerline Symbol not printing from layout

As title says, Centerline symbol appears on layout but when I print from Rhino or export to PDF they are missing. They are one a visible layer with everything else printing appropriately. Any help is appreciated.

Hi @James_Walters,

Can you post a sample file? Where did you get the centerline symbol?

Thanks,

The symbol was in the drop down menu in the text box.

Hi James,
This symbol is not part of the Arial font.
Looks like Rhino is smart enough to display it, but it can’t preview or print it.

If you assign your text to the AutoCAD Simplex font, it will print.
It may not be as dark has you like, but it works.

Rhino does support special symbols.

But Centerline is not one.
I will write that a wish for a future Rhino, so it can be independent from the Font support.

Thank you for the reply Mary, that helps a lot!

I guess I may have copied it in from another program now that you point that out. I will say, I wish the font/text editor was more robust. AutoCAD’s text editor allows for a lot more flexibility than Rhino’s.
