Can't close open polysurfaces for 3d printing

I can’t close the open polysurfaces, I’m a beginner and I don’t understand what went wrong. When I check edges it doesn’t show but when I check volume, as I’m want to print it in 3D, it says there are. open polysurfaces. Can someone please help, I’d be very grateful
I tried to close the buildings under but it doesn’t work, can I 3D print it like this ?

Also, I’d like to know if there are other problems.

Here’s the file via wetransfer as I couldn’t upload it here

263 open meshes
40 closed meshes

how big is the size of the final print ?

use
_showEdges to see where the meshes are open.
a lot of base surfaces are missing.
→ no you can not print it like this.

there is
_fillMeshHole
_fillMeshHoles
use it carefully.

there is many tools for mesh repair… have a look at:
_alignVertices
_weldVertices
_join
_brigde
_RebuildMeshNormals

look at the menu → mesh → Repair tool

_selOpenMesh
_selClosedMesh
will do a good job to sort things and the work that is already done…

happy mesh-repair…
kind regards -tom

Hi Tom,

Thank you very much for your answer,

Before your answer, I decided to redo my model by doing extrusion w/ surfaces. (Extrude Surface)

Your message helped me a lot but I don’t understand why I still have some open meshes

However, I did fill mesh hole that helped me a lot.
I tried the other tools but it doesn’t seem to do anything for my file.

Here’s the updated:

On the left there’s the model with the meshes and on the right the one with the surfaces

how big will the final print be ?

my guess - there is no way around working through all buildings and volumes until they are closed.
it does not matter - mesh or polysurface.

is there any detail you don t know how to close the mesh / polysurfaces ?

I think they look like they’re closed but I don’t understand why some shows they aren’t.
The final print will be 90 Mo I think
The final print is like the file, I already scaled it
The dimensions are in cm, only contained in a rectangle 58cm x 37cm but not in total as they are buildings not covering everything

_showEdges
with the options naked edges will show you where the holes / openings are:

Oh ok thank you a lot, I didn’t understand ! I thought it was non manifold
