Can I prevent users from joining a Team using a personal email address?

I administrate Rhino licenses for a course at a university.

In bulk, I am inviting a number of student email addresses. When some of those students accept the invitation, they have accepted using their personal email address. This usually happens if they’re already logged into Rhino using an account they’ve previously made.

Is there a way to ensure that an invitation can only be used by the address it was sent to?

We can’t domain join due to that affecting other courses/colleges at our university.

Hi Josh,

There is currently no way to do what you describe without linking a team to a domain, which I understand is not possible in your case.

You could ask the students to join with a Rhino account with their edu email address. However, because you don’t control those accounts, even if they complied with your demands (Which almost never happens with students uniformly!), they are free to change that email address in the future since you don’t control their accounts.
