happens in any viewport set to wireframe for instance. now create 2 cubes use SetObjectDisplayMode one of the cubes setting it to shaded or ghosted. now every time you select the shaded object all others dissapear.

also, just be aware that Rhino System Info reports a wrong resolution for my screen, it is actually running 5k+ being set to emulate the shown resolution. its a bit confusing.
Testing on Tahoe 26.0 with your .ini and still haven’t been able to reproduce, i’ll update 26.2. I’m also not using a external monitor.
