I noticed that upon extrusion of a curve with the Gumball’s ball handle, a subsequent selection of the original curve (evoking the Selection menu) will result into hiding the Gumball. It will show up only after changing the viewport mode. [Disappearing Gumball after extrude]

Thanks for reporting. I’ve been able to repeat this in the latest Win build 7.23.22234.05001. I’ll test in Mac as well and get a youtrack going.
