(Bug) Connect fails with co-linear polyline-Segments

Version 8 (8.2.23346.13002, 2023-12-12)
Expires February 15, 2024

trying to connect those curves

(workaround - delete one of the co-linear segments , then connect a 90-Degree setting)

by the way there is another bug regarding preview of viewcapturetoclipboard
(this is the preview of above screenshot)

I see that, pretty odd indeed. It also happens in V7 here. (both Windows)
