Bug: Clipping plane "Exlude selected objects" won't work in Layouts

It seems like the clipping plane “Exclude selected” option, will not work when applied on objects nor layers.

The clipping plane continues to “work”/hide the selected in the viewports.

Is it a bug within the new updates for Rhino 8?

Hej Christian -

That seems to work as expected in a quick test here.
Please post both the output from the Rhino SystemInfo command and a 3dm file that demonstrates the issue you experience.

Investigated a bit further. Seems like the issue applies for blocks and not a simple polysrf.

That’s correct. We have that issue on our list of things to fix:
→ RH-81981 Display: Block object on excluded layer is clipped
I’ve added this thread.

It seems to be working in version 8.27 and earlier - if that’s to any help.
