That looks like a rendered display mode, and the normal status for those is that they don’t show edges. You can change this in Rhino Options > View > Display Modes > [_Rendered_] > Surfaces.

This is what I get when I open your file:
I would try to restore the defaults in that display mode and then apply the edge thickness once again.
Apart from that, you are running a cracked version of Rhino and there might be other things going on with that one that we can’t control…
