I’m going through one of June Lees incredible video tuts (this one: How to make perforated surfaces in Rhino Grasshopper - YouTube ), and learned something about boundary surfaces. It seems that they’ll even take a randomized list of curves, and figure out which ones are planar, and then then make a surface between them. Amazing.
How do they even do this? I was expecting to have to make a tree and sort it by plane/normal directions and then match it to each side of a box, etc…
The boundary surface component automatically does all this for me? I’m curious as to how this works so well.
