How to solve the problem of abnormal rotation of tilted objects caused by inconsistent rotation axes
Hi,
Welcome to the discourse.
I suspect you posted the wrong model. The objects in it don’t match the ones in the movie, and the model doesn’t have keyframes either.
Can you please look into this? And by the way, which version of Bongo are you using: is it WIP 20?
Luc
Thank you very much for your reply. I have installed bongo3, but when I open Rhino, it appears to be bongo2. The objects and models in the video are only of different sizes for testing purposes. I am now sending a new model with keyframes
This is the issue: the pivot of an object is parallel to the world’s X, Y, and Z orientation when installed. The axis of your rotating cilinder is not.
You can use the BongoRotatePivot command in the Top Viewport to align the Y axis of the pivot with the cylinder’s axis.
Additionally, the “Rotate in world space” property of the cilinder must be turned off, to ensure that the rotation effectively uses the pivot axis.

PS I have no idea why the About window speaks of Bongo 2. The model definitely is in 3 WIP 20
I try to use bongo rotate pivot many times, but I didn’t try in the TOP😅thank you very much for your reply. You are my hero!respect!
