I have inserted an external Rhino model into a host Rhino project. Only objects which aren’t in blocks in the external model display materials. Blocked objects don’t.
Wondering if this is a limitation, a setting to be adjusted, or a work around?
Update: I closed this project, opened a previous iteration of it, inserted the block, and the materials display. It’s a mystery.
it may depend on the layer you are inserting your file, or the properties of the block. Anyway, I don’t suppose it may be a bug; you can load the materials by doing some changes on the first file too.
