Hi all,
Sometimes I’m having an issue where a block is only appearing fully in a detail view if that view mode is set to Wireframe. If I explode the block into its component blocks all works as normal in whatever mode I set… (however this is something I do not wish to have to do…)

Has anyone else ever come across this? I’m working in a fully updated Rhino 7 on Windows, and it only happens sometimes.

That part is particularly worrisome. Does that mean that, if you see this, and exit Rhino, opening that file again will then (sometimes) show the missing parts?
If you could post a simple 3dm file that shows this behavior, that would be really helpful. Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.

Thank you for your quick response, I feel a little silly as when I was simplifying the model for you I realised that the blocks that were disappearing within the main block were on a layer that had been set to transparent, and in changing that I have made them visible again. The downside of having multiple people dipping in and out of models!
However, I am curious as to how they were still visible in wireframe, is this just a feature of the mode? And how they were visible when I exploded the block, as I didn’t change any layer properties?!
I’ve attached the simple file without the changed layer properties in case this a slightly different issue
