Block Technical Mode display issues

We are seeing some issues, mostly known I guess, displaying blocks in Technical view mode. There is the bug where blocks get drawn all-hidden unless you add a point or curve to the block definition. There is also a problem with some sort of ghost geometry artifacts being visible with some files. The funny thing is that both these issues are only seen on 3 of 4 workstations, two with GTX770 cards and one with an older FirePro, while on another workstation with a 770 also it’s fine.

Hi Jim-

Yep - I do know about this, but right at the moment I cannot find the bug track item, though I made one in the past, maybe before the YouTrack system - if you have a file that shows the problem, email it to me and I’ll add another bug item.

thanks,

There is also a bug with blocks when extracting the rendermesh of a mirrored block turns the mesh inside out (flips the direction).

extract render mesh from block.3dm (102.1 KB)

This is still the case in R7.

Single polysurface in a block:

With point added:

After deleting the added point it still renders properly. Weird.
