I want to apply a snow load on the top chord of a truss, but the problem is that I had to split it to connect it to the other elements. Is there a way to apply a line load over an area of the top chord? Is there a way to make a beam element into a whole beam?
The component can convert a loaded tributary area to an underlaying structure using element ids. The file below which is from the Karamba website should provide some ideas.
