Balanced stair radius and tread

I am trying to create a balanced quarter turn stair and can’t figure out how to modify the depth of the treads in the turning portion. It seems that they are more or less measured from the center of the stairs, but for my local building regulations I can use a virtual “walking line” which is offset 30 cm from the edge. Thereby the stairs can be made more compact. Is there any way to modify this?

You can change the radius in the stair style editor:

Thanks Enric. Modifying the radius changes how sharply the stairs turn, but not how the tread depth is calculated. It still seems to be measured in the middle of the steps, see the red line below:

Hi @studioselva,

Yes, currently this is not possible to change the walking line radius. VisualARQ will always use the center curve of the stair.

I’ll add our vote to this entry in our wish list. We’ll let you know when we implement this.
