Bake analysis (draft,curvature..) to uved mesh


i have the following situation:

i have a ready modelled landscape in mesh. It will get painted and UVed externally.

i now have the uved model and bring it back to rhino and using the draft angle analysis i would like to create masks for certain inclinations of the mesh which i export to the paint program.

is there any way to bake the analysis display to a uved Mesh so i get the correct masking texture?

or is there any way to write it to vertex color?



There is a way to do this. Start the Draft Angle Analysis command. Then use the ExtractAnalysisMesh command (you will need to type that in). The result is a second mesh that will show analysis colors in Rendered display mode.
