Attribute edit grasshopper x tekla

Hi everyone,

I’m working in Grasshopper and using a component in Tekla called “Houten element 57”, which is used to create wall elements. This component has several presets that I want to select from within Grasshopper, but I’m running into an issue.

One of the presets, “Compleet”, should include exterior plates and wooden cladding, but it does not load correctly in Tekla (see attached image). I’ve tried multiple approaches, but I can’t seem to get it to work.

When I first started and kept things very simple, it did work. However, at some point, it stopped working, and I haven’t been able to get it back, even when simplifying everything again.

Does anyone know what might be going wrong or what I can do to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi, you’ll want connect presets to the Attribute File input and any individual attributes to the Attributes input. You can turn on full names in Grasshopper to make it clearer what each input stands for (in the Grasshopper menu: Display > Draw Full Names).

Additional tip: If you’ve got the link version 1.19 installed, use the Auto Value List component and connect it to the Attribute File input to see all available presets.

Cheers,

-b

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help. I was stuck before, but after updating to LiveLink 1.19, everything works perfectly! Your explanation made it clear, and I’m really happy I can finally move forward. Thanks again! :raising_hands:
