Attach wall top functionality for Directshape floor element

Hi,

We have modelled an arena bowl element in Rhino/GH (Closed Polysurfaces) and imported into Revit 2019 via RhinoInside as a floor direct shapes. We are looking to attach wall tops to the underside of the bowl as per the attach top/base functionality for revit native roofs/walls. I have found this thread from August 2020 outlining a workaround from @eirannejad. I was wondering if there are any more ideas since then. Thank you.

this is still your best option to mimic that functionality, we do have a Wall by Profile component now.

Revit Geometry (Walls) Wont attach to Rhino Geometry (Roof)

@attheeast18 Take a look at the definition below. It’s collecting the walls, grabbing the center curve of the walls, project on the underside of the roof and thus generating a wall profile. It then creates walls based on those profiles and the type and level of the existing walls.
