Archicad 26 - Grasshopper / Rhino 7 live connection

Hey there,

i recently did a fresh install of Windows 10, Archicad 26 and Rhino 7 and would like to use the live connection add-on for these. My Problem is, that i can’t get any connection from grasshopper to archicad. Since i’m getting no error code on the connection panel, just the text message “Connection Failed”, i was wondering if there is a another way to know what is going wrong when the conncetions fails? Do i have to allow so special permissions or anything? Did anyone encounter this problem as well?

Hi!

Have you tried to (in the Archicad Connection Palette in Grasshopper) changing the port number?

For me I for some reason often have different ports set automatically, but if I change this in Grasshopper it works.

unfortunately this is not the probelm, both ports are set to 19723

Hi there,

also had the same problem!
I tried downloading the 3000 build instead of the 4000, and then it worked just fine.
Hope that changing the build works out for you!

Hello,

I’m having the same problem with Archicad 27 and Rhino 7.
The ports are the same: 19723.
And this is the only instance of Archicad running. I started the programs in this order: Archicad, Rhino, Grasshopper.
Anyone found a solution yet?
