Hi, I am pretty new to Grasshopper.
I am trying to reproduce the copper skin from the De Young Museum from Herzog and De Meuron, and I have found a script for the fritting pattern. This allows me to make one panel, but I need to cover the entire building with it and to make it look seamless (introduce variations on the panels).
How could I achieve this? I’ve worked with surface paneling in the past but I was using rhino geometry, not patterns like this.
Thank you so much
by googling “De Young Museum copper facade” I found this issuu document that looks like an architectural thesis, where at a certain point the student tries to rebuild that very same facade
Hi, yes I’ve seen it but I need a simplified version because it’s for an architectural diagram. We just need to cover the entire building with a variating dots pattern that somehow assembles the tree effect. So I’m just trying to figure out how to multiply the panel, apply it to the building facades and include some level of variation on it.
