I’ve been using a 15" w/ Nvidia 650M on Bootcamp exclusively for over a year now, and it works as well as my desktop ever did.
Now it’s time to spec a new laptop for my GF, and I’d love to be able to use it as a backup in case something catastrophic happens to my machine while we’re traveling.
I was thinking about a 13" Retina for her (with the Intel Iris graphics).
If I’m able to get acceptable (not great) performance from my 15" machine when I turn off hardware-accelerated graphic modes, is it any indication that I’m likely to have good luck with the 13" machine? Or is there more to it than that?
With a System Registry key addition and copying a manifest file to the folder where 64-bit Rhino V5 lives, you can fix the small icon problem on high resolution monitors.
