Hello!
I might have missed if this was asked earlier. So I have a curvy surface. I have iso lines on it. I have created 10 points on the iso line, then based on the curve tangent and the point I have created planes. the Z direction of the planes is correct but the planes are rotated all over the place. I want them to follow the surface curveture. How can I align them? Screenshot explains it I hope.
I think you might want to use the AlignPlane component, and use as guide vector the tangent of the isocurves flowing in the other UV direction at those very points where the planes were created
you’ll need to post your definition with internalized geometries to get more help
(internalize geometries = right click on any Geometry Parameters that carries anything referenced in your Rhino file, choose internalise something then save the GH file and upload )
i cant really follow your description. here are the files
facade.gh (87.8 KB)
facade.3dm (151.4 KB)

how did you join my surfaces? once I join them they become open polysurface and I no longer able to reference it in GH
