Adjustable blend curve starting snaps

Hi everyone,

this might be a very noob question but for some reason when I run the adjustable blend curve command and select the curve or edge to blend the resulting curve (when the command is running) starts where I select the edge or curve. This is nice but I always find myself dragging the starting point to the end of the curve or edge.

On my work computer, the command always starts at the end of an edge or curve so I assume I must have mistakenly changed a setting somewhere to cause this.
