AddGuide Visibility?

I have not been able to spend a lot of time in V6, due to a change in workflow, but I see McNeel has added a long requested feature of mine. Is there a way to make these visible when the command is not active? It would be great if guides/construction lines visibility could be toggled on and off, without invoking the AddGuide command. I don’t see any info in the help topics about how they are supposed to work.

Hi Don - currently there is no provision for this, that I know of. You’d like a global GuidesOn/Off tool, correct?

Yes, just a toggle of some sort, preferably accessible through a toolbar button. It would also be handy to be able to change the default color, in settings.
