Would it be possible to add a “SelectSublayers” check box to the dialog box of SelectLayer? So that instead of having to expand the parent layer(s) and shift-click the sub-layers, the command would automatically select all objects on both parent and sub-layers.

Yeah, I know it’s there, but my workflow is just so hung up on alias’es (I think I’ve got 220+) - working the keyboard with the right hand and the mouse with the left (South paw!). I hardly ever use the layer list, properties window etc., but will keep on doing so for this
