A request- hide surface edges on specific object via Properties:Object

Hi Mcneel Team,

Could you add the option as I wrote in the title?

My idea is, after selecting object, in Properties:Object there is Tangent edges.

I see a topic there is a nice solution indeed but we can not be sure sometimes what is wrong with the object, for instance I may could not see Tangent edges of the object and never figure out that I must use ClearAllObjectDisplayModes command to see tangent edges, also it is hard to know to the command for newbee users. I hope I have explained myself more clearly

update:
I copied Rendered view, set name “Rendered with no tangent edges”, unticked the Show tangent edges", its ok.

A But:

If I am on Perspective view and “default rendered” view:
I run the SetObjectDisplayMode for an object that has tangent edges, then click to “Rendered with no tangent edges”. It is fine.

If I switch to Front view and “default rendered” view: I must do SetObjectDisplayMode over again.

So my request on the first message seems logical, what do you think

update 2:
If I want to open the file in different computer and keep the setting, I have to export “display mode” that I have created, then import to other computer.

So please make this not file or .ini file related, make it object related in properties:object
